Spectrum Brands is a ~$3B global consumer products company with a portfolio of trusted, market-leading brands. Within Home & Personal Care, we operate brands including Remington, Black & Decker, George Foreman and PowerXL spanning across multiple consumer categories.

Reporting directly to the Global Amazon DVP, the Sales Director will lead Spectrum Brands’ Amazon UK, Germany and France business, owning strategy, execution and outcomes. You will manage 4 direct reports and be expected to personally drive performance, not oversee it from a distance.

If you thrive on ownership, pace and pressure, are relentlessly data-led, and believe that results matter more than rhetoric, read on.

The Role

This role is for a proven Amazon growth leader who has already owned and delivered a £100m+ Amazon business and is ready to do it again with full P&L accountability.

What you will be accountable for:

  • Delivering Growth: Own and deliver the annual sales and profit plan across Amazon UK, DE and FR.
  • Full P&L Ownership: Absolute accountability for revenue, margin and profitability across UK & Europe.
  • Leading the Amazon Relationship: Own senior vendor relationships, negotiations and annual terms - no escalation safety net.
  • Execution Excellence: Build and deliver joint business plans that translate strategy into measurable results.
  • Commercial Control: Lead pricing, promotions and trade decisions in partnership with Finance and Brand teams.
  • Conversion Obsession: Direct content and keyword strategy to drive conversion through constant testing and optimisation.
  • Data-First Decision Making: Own performance dashboards and analysis, turning insight into action at pace.
  • Forecasting & Availability: Partner with supply chain teams to maximise availability without compromising working capital.
  • People Leadership: Lead, develop and performance-manage 4 direct reports, setting a high bar for delivery.
  • Organisational Influence: Act as the internal authority on Amazon, challenging thinking and raising capability across the business.

What It Takes to Succeed

  • 7+ years leading a large-scale 1P Amazon business
  • Demonstrable ownership of £100m+ annual Amazon revenue
  • Proven track record of delivering growth in complex, high-volume environments
  • Highly commercial, analytical and financially astute — confident owning a P&L
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and solutions
  • Comfortable making tough calls and holding teams to account
  • Advanced Excel and data analytics capability; BI tools experience essential (CIQ a plus)
  • Strong communicator who can influence Amazon and internal stakeholders at senior level

This is a role with real ownership, a true business leadership position rather than account management. You’ll operate at significant scale and complexity, with accountability that will stretch even experienced Amazon leaders and give you the opportunity to make a visible, lasting impact. With high exposure to global leadership, you will directly influence growth strategy across the UK and Europe, in a role where delivery is recognised and rewarded.

If you’re looking for a safe role, this isn’t it. If you want ownership, accountability and the opportunity to prove what you can really deliver on Amazon, we want to hear from you.
