We are seeking a Family Solicitor with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience to join our Family Department on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is full-time and offers a hybrid working arrangement, with an equal split between office-based and remote working.
You will manage your own caseload of family law matters, with appropriate supervision and support from senior members of the team. You will manage a varied caseload covering all aspects of family law, including divorce, financial remedies, and private children matters.
As part of our continued growth plans, we are seeking a motivated Family Solicitor to support the Family Department in managing an expanding caseload and delivering excellent client service. The successful candidate will work closely with senior fee earners and will have the opportunity to further develop their expertise across all aspects of family law.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of client service, supporting business growth, and helping to enhance existing systems and processes.
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience specialising in family law
- Proven experience managing a varied family law caseload independently
- Strong knowledge of divorce, financial remedies, and private children matters
- Experience handling financial remedy proceedings, including exposure to complex financial cases
- Excellent business development and networking skills
- Advise clients on complex financial arrangements and high-net-worth cases
- Attend court hearings, client meetings, and networking events as required
- Conduct legal research and prepare cases for hearings
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional obligations
Ability to commute/relocate: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
