The Opportunity

With numerous exciting large-scale projects and a strong forward work profile nationally in the Petrochem, Power, Offshore, and Mining sectors, Ausdecom is seeking to expand our team and is ready to unlock the opportunity for an energetic Project Manager to join us on the journey.
Key Duties & Tasks
- Manage the adherence to project methodologies and standards throughout project lifecycles.
- Champion best practice in relation to commercial management and business goals.
- Coordinate and manage work specs, project protocols, and project risk.
- Be a Safety Leader in relation to all things Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment.
- Oversee all site labour, whilst fostering a collaborative and high-performing project team.
- Deliver weekly reports including costs against budget, forecasting, and schedule tracking.
- Monitor changes to project scope whilst effectively estimating and negotiating contract variations.
- Prepare comprehensive tenders, bids, including job plans and costs.
- Manage monthly claims, budgets, and invoicing, including general financials.
- Facilitate regular project meetings with a variety of stakeholders providing status updates.
Experience/Skills & Qualifications
- Qualifications in Commercial, Civil, Business, Environmental, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- Substantial experience in Project Management. (Related industries considered.)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead change and manage multiple projects.
- Experience and highly skilled in site documentation and reporting.
- High-level problem-solving skills with the ability to provide alternative solutions (manage change) that offer commercial and technical advantages to a project.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems and related technologies.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with a track record of effectively managing stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst managing project elements simultaneously.
