Hybrid in Whitely - 1-2 days a week in the office. Want to help shape how a global organisation thinks, acts and talks about security? At Specsavers, we’re here to change lives through better sight and hearing. To do that safely and confidently, we need colleagues who care about doing the right thing, who enjoy working with people, and who want to help build a strong, security‑aware culture as we continue to grow. That’s where this role comes in.
This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in information and cyber security. As part of Specsavers’ global Information Security team, you’ll work within Governance, Risk and Compliance, supporting strategic programmes that help the business manage cyber and information security risk in a practical, people‑focused way. Reporting into our Global GRC Manager for Strategic Programmes, Training and Culture, you’ll contribute to initiatives that improve everyday security behaviours, strengthen how governance is embedded across the organisation, and help Specsavers meet important regulatory and contractual obligations in an ever‑changing threat landscape.
You’ll make a real impact through collaboration, communication and curiosity. This role is about bringing security to life for colleagues around the world. You’ll support global governance frameworks aligned to recognised standards, contribute to compliance programmes such as PCI DSS, and work closely with business stakeholders to help embed security by design into transformation and change initiatives. You’ll be involved in creating and delivering engaging security training and awareness activities, supporting our security champions network, and helping to build a culture where security feels relevant, accessible and shared.
Alongside this, you’ll develop meaningful metrics and reports for senior stakeholders, keep a close eye on changes in regulation and emerging threats, and contribute to clear, well‑communicated policies and guidance. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills will help you balance multiple pieces of work at once, while collaboration across the Information Security team will be key to keeping everything moving forward.
We are looking for someone with a passion for creating content, with previous experience supporting project delivery. If you enjoy learning, communicating and making things better, you’ll thrive here. You’ll bring either a background in information or cyber security, or experience in areas like learning and development, governance or programme support, along with a clear desire to deepen your security knowledge. You’re confident communicating with different audiences, comfortable creating reports and materials using Microsoft Office tools, and naturally organised when managing tasks or small projects. Most importantly, you care about how your work lands with people and can demonstrate alignment with Specsavers’ values and behaviours.
If you’re looking for a role where you can learn fast, influence culture and help protect something meaningful, this could be your next step. Join Specsavers and be part of a global team working together to make security a shared responsibility - one conversation, one programme and one positive behaviour at a time.
This role closes on Friday 12th June 2026. Don't delay your application, apply now – you'll be glad you did.
