You’ll work with the store team to deliver high-standard clinical care and customer service to meet both patient needs and business objectives. And of course, you’ll be a key part in creating a warm and friendly environment for our customers and our team.
Our store Specsavers Washington, in Tyne and Wear recently opened their doors to their brand new store located in The Galleries shopping centre! Boasting a whopping 9 test rooms with OCT and Phoroptors, including 2 HearCare rooms and 1 Contact Lens room, the store is fitted with state of the art equipment and technology meaning you will be working in a fresh and modern environment. The store is easily accessible from the A1 or A19.
Washington sits in close proximity to the beautiful North East coastline including beaches with the prestigious Blue Flag and Seaside awards - high water quality and well-maintained beachfront. The nearest are Roker & Seaburn and they are only 8 miles from The Galleries. Washington Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust nature reserve sits within the town and is a great place for spotting many varieties of birds as well as otters etc. A great place for a relaxing day out.

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need to be registered as a member of the General Optical Council (keeping this up to date).
