About the role: Specsavers in Cumbernauld are relocating to a brand-new store in June 2026 and are looking for a forward-thinking Optometrist to join their well-established team on a full or part-time basis. You will be joining a highly successful and experienced team, some of whom have worked in the store for over 25 years! As this will be a new store you will be working in a modern clinical environment, featuring 5 test rooms with the latest clinical equipment. There are multiple experienced Optometrists within Cumbernauld, meaning you will be joining a team of clinicians who will help you settle in.
Development and support: The development opportunities that are available with Specsavers are unlike any other opticians. For those of you that have ambitions to progress your career, this is the perfect place to do it. Our store partner is passionate about the clinical and/or professional development of their team - they will encourage, support and fully fund you through further education and qualifications such as Independent Prescribing or if you would like to own your own store one day they are on hand to support with this too.
