As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you don’t need to have previous experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores. You will assist our customers by undertaking repairs and adjustments to their glasses, helping to fit the frames once they have been made in our lab and conducting pupil distance measurements, as well as lens advice - please don't worry if this sounds a little daunting, full training will be provided, but if you have optics experience that's great too!
Our business
Based at 44-48 High Street, Inverness, IV1 1JE our store is a busy and vibrant place to be with great access via train and bus, and a funded parking permit after 6 months continuous service. Our store has 7 test rooms and offers Audiology care too!
Our team
We have a wonderful team of 35 dedicated people in our store ready and waiting for you to meet. We are a sociable bunch and get together at least 3 times a year for fully funded team events!
