Role Description
As an Experienced Optical Assistant at Specsavers Stockport, you will provide day-to-day support to customers in our on-site store, ensuring an excellent experience at every stage of their visit. This full-time role includes welcoming and guiding customers, assisting with frame selection and lens options. You will manage bookings, handle product queries, and support the dispensing process, ensuring accurate information is recorded in store systems. The role also involves liaising closely with other team members, maintaining a clean and organised environment, and supporting the delivery of consistent, high-quality eyecare services.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and a focus on Customer Satisfaction to build trust and provide a positive in-store experience.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to explain products clearly and respond effectively to customer needs.
- Candidates should possess a basic understanding of Optometry or prior optical retail experience.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in an optical assistant or similar customer-facing role is essential; training will be provided to build on existing skills.
