You will be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. You will help them with their sight and support them to get basic tasks done that they wouldn’t be able to do without you. Essentially, you will be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.
Our business is based in and around Hampshire; you will be providing care to vulnerable patients in their own homes across Southampton, Romsey and Gosport areas. You may also be required to cover Isle of Wight on occasion in this role. Our team has a wonderful existing group of dedicated people from optical and administrative backgrounds, who are ready and waiting for you to meet them.
Required Skills- Previous optical experience of at least 6 months to 1 year, with the ability to confidently dispense at all levels, measure and fit.
- Must have a full UK driving licence and be a confident driver.
- Previous experience in a fast‑paced customer‑facing environment.
- Confidence using new systems as well as tablet and/or laptop.
- Salary up to £27,000, dependent on experience (pro rata).
- Company car or car allowance of £3,000 per annum (pro rata).
- Bonus scheme.
- Part‑time – 3 or 4 days per week.
