You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who are unable to come into our stores. Not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll also be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.
We are looking for an experienced Optical Assistant, who has some supervisory or management experience within optics for this role. You will need to be able to confidently dispense at all levels, measure and fit and hold a full UK driving licence. You will also need to be computer literate and be able to confidently work on your own initiative and manage your time effectively.
Our region covers Worthing, across to Brighton and Eastbourne, so you need to be comfortable travelling to see our patients. With more 1-on-1 time spent with patients in the place where they feel comfortable, you can really cater to their needs and make a real difference in their lives.
Our business is based in Lancing and we provide care to vulnerable patients in their own homes relating to their eye care needs. We have a wonderful team of dedicated people ready and waiting for you to meet.

What we’re looking for? If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as a Home Visits Optical Assistant. These include:
- Current or recent optical experience (at least 6 months-1 year) and you must be able to confidently dispense at all levels
- Current or recent senior/supervisory/management experience within optics
- You must hold a full UK driving licence and be a confident driver
- Must be based on Isle of Wight
