We are excited to announce an opportunity for a new Retail Director to join our existing Wallasey store with 50% shareholding available.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced Optom Director and the long-standing team of clinical and retail professionals, to continue to drive the success of this store.
Based in central Wallasey, inside a shopping centre means the store benefits from good footfall from surrounding businesses and also offers excellent commuting routes via public transport and driving. There’s paid parking at the shopping centre and free parking just a few minutes’ walk away.
The store itself has 5 test rooms, with an additional 6th room being built in the coming months. There’s 1 hear care testing room that is also used for diabetic screening as part of an enhanced service offering. Other services available onsite include red eye appointments and pre and post cataracts checks.
Specsavers Wallasey was amongst the first 110 stores to be opened by Specsavers and as such, has a large, loyal client base and a whopping 80% market share in its area! The customer demographic is varied and you’ll see that you’re taking families on a journey through the ages! There’s extremely low turnover in the team, meaning the knowledge in-house is exceptional as well as being a friendly and welcoming bunch, who are open to new ideas and dedicated to the success of the store.
