About the Store
Specsavers Romsey first opened its doors 10 years ago and enjoys a highly desirable location on the market square of Romsey. You will be joining a highly experienced retail director, who has been with the store since it first opened. The retail partner is a dispensing optician and holds over 28 years of optical experience. In place you will find a strong and dedicated team, each with long standing optical experience. Clinical excellence is abundant in the store, and the team work hard to maintain and push store standards, as well as driving their own development. The store feels like Specsavers, with a family-based culture at the heart of it all.

Welcome to beautiful Romsey! Located on the edge of the New Forest, and less than an hour to the closest beach, Romsey is ideally located for those that enjoy the outdoors. Plus there’s the benefit of Southampton airport close by as well as the city of Salisbury, you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Due to a truly diverse patient demographic, you will find no two tests are ever the same. The town is very community focussed, and our new incoming optometry partner will be hands on and driven to support the growth of this business and embed into this stunning and highly affluent location.
Requirements of the Role
Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion, and willingness to maintain the customer-focused culture and the high standards of this store, you will be willing to work hard to build a strong relationship with the existing partner and wider group. As the new Optometry Partner, you’ll be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll be able to build a rapport with the existing team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and possess an ability to build strong relationships within the local community. You will be hands on, motivated and commercial aware to make the right choices every day.
