Overview

Experienced Optical Assistant We are looking for a proactive, people-focused team member to be the friendly face in our stores. If you have optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this Optical Assistant role could be a great fit. You will use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services, alongside your excellent customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for customers and the team.

Based in Morpeth, we are seeking someone with previous optical experience who can dispense up to multi-focal lenses.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Great teamwork and initiative
  • Confidence in using IT systems
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Willingness to step out of your comfort zone and try new things
  • Ability to receive feedback and be open to development with support and guidance

Desirable experience

  • Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Experience in optics or audiology business
  • Basic knowledge of optical and/or audiology terminology
