About the role
As a Home Visits Optical Assistant at Specsavers you will drive our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to people who are unable to come into our stores.
You will support patients in various locations across South West London and Greater London, covering postcode areas SW, KT or TW.
Key responsibilities
- Provide eye care and dispensing at all levels to patients in community settings.
- Maintain a full UK driving licence and own car for mandatory travel.
- Deliver self‑services consistent with Specsavers mandates.
- Required experience
- At least 6 months to 1 year of optical experience, confident in dispensing.
Desirable experience
- Previous experience in a fast‑paced customer‑service environment.
- Experience in optics.
- Working hours
Part‑time, 3 days per week, 9am‑5:30pm (flexibility required).
- Remuneration and benefits
- Salary up to £28,000 pro‑rata, based on experience.
