Our store

The Gloucester Specsavers store is a busy environment based in the popular Eastgate Shopping Centre.

The store features seven test rooms, a diverse customer base and expert clinical services alongside a wide range of stylish and affordable eyewear.

With excellent public transport links and easy access to local bus routes and the nearby Gloucester railway station, it is convenient for both customers and staff commuting from surrounding areas.

Our team

The store is supported by a large and experienced team of approximately 55–60 colleagues, creating a dynamic and fast‑paced working environment.

The team includes optometrists, dispensing opticians, optical assistants, and support roles, all working together to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the store.

With a blend of experience and ongoing development, the culture encourages collaboration and knowledge‑sharing, enabling colleagues at all levels to thrive and advance in their careers.

  • Total package around £38,500, comprising basic salary plus performance‑based bonus, dependent on experience
  • Full Time – 38.75 hours per week, including 1 weekend day each week
