Location: West Park Farm - Folkestone, Kent
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience
Working hours: Full time or part time - fully flexible with hours, tailored to your needs
Experience level: This role is open to both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists who are registered with the GOC.

Specsavers in West Park Farm Sainsbury’s, Folkestone are looking for a driven Optometrist to join their community focused team, they are looking for someone who is passionate about their career and providing excellent patient care.
Folkestone understands that you have a personal life too and with a focus on flexibility they can offer fully flexible contracts tailored to your needs. This could be full time, part time, school hours, term time or even no weekends!
The store opened in 2009 with the two current directors who have successfully grown a fantastic team, some of them have been there since day one with others celebrating their 15th anniversaries in the store! You would be joining a supportive and well-established team who enjoy regular social and training events.
The store has 3 test rooms, all fully equipped with the latest clinical equipment and technology including OCT and Nidek Phoropters. If you’re an experienced Optometrist who has previously supervised pre-reg’s or you would like to start supervising this could be the store to do it as Folkestone have a fantastic track record of developing pre-reg’s.
Both store directors are leading from the front in terms of clinical and professional development and would encourage you to advance your career. In addition to this role, we are also recruiting within our sister store in Folkestone, and you would have the opportunity to work between both stores which is what our current Optometrists do. Folkestone boasts 7 test rooms and 1 hear care room. All optical test rooms are fully equipped with the latest clinical equipment including an OCT, Henson 9000 Visual Field Screener and Nidek Phoropters in every room.
