This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over‐50s age inclusive jobs board. We're on the lookout for a Project Manager on a 12 month FTC, to come and join our Business Development team.

Looking after an area of stores in the North West of the UK, anything from Manchester to Liverpool, down to Shropshire and Staffordshire and across through to North Wales, so a love for being out and about, and on the road with your team is essential.

This role will take ownership for projects within this division. Building relationships with partners and stakeholders to help deliver and support our Specsavers stores. No two days will be the same in this busy and fast‐paced role. You could be dealing with minor works and a refresh, to relocations and new stores.

It will take ownership for anything from negotiations with landlords, reviewing costs and ensuring projects are running on time, to the day‐to‐day management of contractors on site. You'll need experience in delivery of new space fit‐out projects and projects within a live trading retail environment, as well as a detailed understanding of the necessary consents, documentation and co‐ordination required with the retail team to ensure robust delivery on every scheme.

You'll be all about the details and able to self‐manage very busy workloads, influence and challenge, and having strong communication, collaboration, and organisation skills will be the key to your success in this role. The role will require you being out in the field weekly, so being happy to travel is a must!
