Are you passionate about building brilliant business processes and creating the capability that allows transformation to succeed at scale? We're looking for a Head of Business Process to join our Business Change team and lead the development of our enterprise Business Process capability across Specsavers globally. This is a rare opportunity to take something that's still relatively early in its journey and define what great looks like, creating the operating model, governance, standards and capability that will support Specsavers' transformation ambitions for years to come.

This isn't a role focused simply on documenting processes. You'll set the strategic direction for Business Process Management, evolving our current programme-focused capability into a scalable, enterprise-wide function. You'll establish the process taxonomy, governance, ownership models and continuous improvement approach that enable greater consistency, operational excellence and sustainable change across the organisation.

You’ll also have the opportunity to build the capability itself. You'll transition knowledge from our current third-party provision, develop the future team and create a Centre of Excellence with the frameworks, tools, guidance and standards needed to embed process excellence across major programmes and wider business priorities.

Working across Business Change, Product, Technology, Operations and our regions, you'll help simplify complex end-to-end processes and ensure redesigned ways of working genuinely land and become part of business as usual.

We're looking for someone with significant leadership experience across Business Process Management, Operational Excellence and complex transformation. You'll have previously built or scaled process capabilities or Centres of Excellence, with strong knowledge of process architecture, taxonomy, governance, ownership, measurement and continuous improvement. You'll also understand how process connects with Business Analysis, change and technology to enable successful transformation.

Just as importantly, you'll be a strong and credible leader who can operate in ambiguity and bring people with you. You'll be comfortable challenging existing thinking, influencing senior stakeholders and creating alignment across a complex global organisation while establishing a new capability from the ground up.

If you're excited by the opportunity to build rather than simply inherit, create a lasting enterprise capability and shape how Specsavers approaches business process globally, we'd love to hear from you.
