As a Security Operations Specialist, you'll be part of our Security Engineering team, supporting the technology and monitoring capabilities that protect Specsavers from cyber threats every single day. You'll work closely with senior engineers as you build strong foundations in security tooling and incident response, gaining exposure to on-prem, cloud and internet-facing environments along the way. From operating and supporting security tools, to helping onboard and validate log sources, you'll play a key role in keeping our security monitoring services running smoothly. You'll also help keep our documentation clear and current, and you'll be encouraged to share ideas that improve how we do things tomorrow. You'll bring a solid understanding of core cyber security principles, along with familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP, and modern security tools such as endpoint protection, email security or SIEM technologies. Experience working in a support or operational environment will help you hit the ground running, but just as important is your mindset.
