Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex
Salary: Total package worth up to £77,000 per annum depending on experience + £10K joining bonus + up to £20K relocation support
Working hours: Full time or part time – no late nights
Experience level: This role is open to both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists who are registered with the GOC.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist to join our state‑of‑the‑art store in Eastbourne. You will join an excellent team of 55 highly trained optical professionals, some of whom have been working in the store for over 30 years! Specsavers Eastbourne relocated its premises in 2015 and spent over £1 million on the move and refurbishment. In November 2023 the store had a further refurbishment, so you will be joining a store that looks and feels fresh, new, and modern with large windows allowing a lot of light in. The store boasts nine test rooms all fully equipped with the highest and newest clinical technology, including OCT, Nidek Phoropters, trial frames and LED slit lamps.
Eastbourne is a community‑focused store that is dedicated to its customers and ensures they receive an excellent patient experience. We are looking for an Optometrist who is forward‑thinking and ready to use their passion and knowledge to help build on our ever‑growing and loyal customer base. Our Eastbourne store is one of the top‑performing stores in the country and is Centre of Excellence accredited and a Platinum Employer. Conveniently located in The Beacon Shopping Centre there are excellent transport links; Eastbourne Railway Station is a five‑minute walk and regular bus services are available. If you drive, parking is available in the shopping centre car park and season passes can be purchased.
In addition to this role, we also have a fantastic opportunity within our sister store in Seaford. You would have the option of working between both stores, which many of our Optometrists currently do. Seaford has three test rooms, also equipped with the latest clinical equipment.
