As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you don’t need to have previous experience; you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, ensuring every patient receives the best care in our stores. Full training and support will be offered for this role.

Our store is based at Unit 1, The Loreburne Shopping Centre, Dumfries, and is a busy and vibrant place to be with great access via public transport and parking available nearby. Our store has great facilities, including 6 test rooms, and we have a wonderful team of 30 friendly and dedicated people ready and waiting for you to meet!

  • Part time - 20-22.5 hours per week, working either 2-3 days or 5 x 4 hour shifts (to include weekend working)
