Specsavers is a household name and a Highstreet staple. As a qualified Dispensing Optician at Specsavers, you will be able to build on the skills you already have and see your career flourish, while sharing your knowledge to give our customers the best possible service.
Our store, based in Milton Keynes, is a large, recently refurbished store spread over 2 floors and boasts 8 testing rooms. The store location is easily accessible via multiple public transport routes and local parking. Milton Keynes is only 30 minutes from Luton and is just 30 minutes from central London via train. You are also less than 20 miles away from Northampton!
You will be joining a team of 6 resident Dispensing Opticians and 2 Trainee Dispensing Opticians, providing you with an abundance of peer support on the shop floor. Additionally, the store has 2 partners who are committed to the development of their team, evidenced by the funded development received by their current in-store team and the successes that they have seen from their DOs completing CLO and OO conversion courses. The store already has one of their in-store DOs signed up to ABDO's brand new professional certificate in paediatric eyecare.
