So, you’re an organisation expert wanting to take your career to the next level? Our Scheduler/Administrator role within our Home Visits service could be perfect for you. As a Scheduler/Administrator with Specsavers, you’ll be a key part of our business, ensuring clinic scheduling and appointment booking is completed in the most effective and efficient way possible for our Home Visits Optical team, while always putting our customers first.
The role also involves administrative duties, including updating customer files, therefore strong attention to detail is essential. You’ll handle a high volume of incoming calls, sharing responsibility with the wider team, as well as making outbound calls to customers. As such, excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner are required. You will liaise closely with our Optical team as they deliver clinics across the region, along with external parties, so confidence when dealing with people is important. You may also be required to support taking some calls for our Audiology Home Visits service on occasion.
We're looking for someone who has a level headed approach to managing day-to-day customer care, with an emphasis on route planning and scheduling appointments across our region, and delivery of excellent customer service for our Home Visits Optical team, someone who can work at pace managing a busy workload, sometimes with conflicting deadlines, and who demonstrates excellent time management skills. You will need to be confident working on your own initiative. Current or previous appointment setting or scheduling experience is preferred for this role.
You’ll be part of a supportive team delivering care to people who are unable to visit our stores, meaning you’ll make a real difference every day.

What we’re looking for?
- Previous route planning, appointment setting or scheduling and administration experience is essential
- Able to manage a busy workload and prioritise conflicting deadlines

- Previous or current optics experience will be very welcomed
