As a Hearcare Administrator at Specsavers, you\'ll play a key role in keeping the hearcare department running smoothly. Your role will cover a wide range of administrative duties, including answering telephone calls, triaging patients, handling customer queries, managing appointments, updating and filing records, and managing essential back‑office tasks such as data audits, emails, stock adjustments and ordering. You\'ll also be taught how to support the Hearcare team with hearing aid repairs, including showing customers basic maintenance. Everything you do will help deliver an efficient, high‑quality service that supports the store\'s overall success.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams, and email
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Experience in an admin or call‑centre environment is beneficial
  • Computer literate with the ability to handle multiple systems
  • Able to work independently while also liaising effectively with team members
  • Comfortable using own initiative to manage and prioritise workload

The Specsavers Camberley store is a vibrant, well‑established location with nine fully equipped test rooms, a dedicated Hearcare service, and a strong reputation for excellent customer care. Our Hearcare team supports customers with a full range of audiology services, offering expert advice and personalised solutions in a welcoming environment. Situated directly opposite Camberley train station—just a 30‑second walk away—the store is ideally placed for easy commuting, with the main bus stop also right on the doorstep. For those who drive, on‑street parking is available, and the station car park provides an affordable full‑day option. This is a busy, friendly store where great teamwork and outstanding customer care come together every day.

Our team

The Camberley team is a lively, friendly group of 43 colleagues who bring a wide mix of skills to the store, including experienced optometrists, dispensing opticians, optical assistants, and dedicated retail and audiology team members. Together, they deliver exceptional service in every part of the patient journey—from clinical expertise in the test rooms to knowledgeable dispensing on the shop floor. The team genuinely enjoy working and socialising together, organising two major events each year, including a summer celebration and a festive Christmas party. It\'s a supportive, sociable environment where new team members feel welcomed and valued from day one.
