Our store Specsavers in Saltcoats is looking for a forward-thinking Optometrist to join their thriving team! With a commitment to clinical excellence and a focus on work-life balance, this is the perfect opportunity to take your clinical skills to the next level. Our ideal candidate prides themselves on their clinical judgment, isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach, and is keen to build rapport with the rest of the team. Our store has been open for over 20 years and our excellent team of 16 highly trained optical professionals including Optometrists, Contact Lens Opticians, Dispensing Opticians, and trained Optical Assistants take pride in providing an exceptional patient experience. We boast 4 test rooms, and our practice is fully equipped with the latest clinical technology including OCT and Nidek Phoropters.
Saltcoats is a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of history and natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy the picturesque harbour and golden, sandy beaches set around Irvine Bay. For those interested in the area’s rich history, the North Ayrshire Museum provides a comprehensive overview and is housed in a former church. Saltcoats also boasts a range of shops to browse and cafés, bars, and restaurants to dine in. Plus, with a 45-minute drive, it is easily commutable from Glasgow.
