Admin Assistant – Buxton

So you’re an organisation expert wanting to take your career to the next level? Our Administrator role could be perfect for you.

As an administrator at Specsavers, you’ll be a key part of our business. You’ll make sure all administration and clinic scheduling is completed in the most effective, efficient way possible, and you’ll always put the customers first.

Main tasks – Reception, Diary management, Communicating effectively with customers, clinicians and manufacturers.

We’re looking for a passionate, ambitious individual ready to be the friendly and approachable point of contact for our customers and colleagues. But, as well as our patients, you’ll be cared for too, receiving constant, in-depth training and development to help you continue to grow your skills and understanding. What’s on Offer?

  • 24 hours hours per week – over 3 or 4 days
  • Salary – £7.75 – £12.41 depending on age
  • Annual Leave plus an additional day off on your birthday

What we’re looking for?

  • Experience working in fast-paced administrative environment
  • Excellent admin and organisational skills
  • Comfortable in a face-to-face environment – greeting customers as they come into the store
  • Ability to use IT systems effectively (including Office 365)
  • Great team worker

  • Fantastic communicator
  • Ability to adapt

Desirable skills

  • Previous experience working in an administrative role or face to face customer service role.
