The Business
The businesses occupy strong positions across a prime High Street location and a nearby Sainsbury’s site, benefiting from high footfall and easy access to several public car parks. From both a clinical and operational perspective, the businesses are well equipped, featuring on-site glazing, NIDEK OCT technology in both stores, and a private-only enhanced service model.
Newbury offers six optical test rooms, providing 4/5 sight tests clinics most days, as well as one contact lens clinic a day, along with a well-established and profitable audiology business. Hectors Way operates from within a Sainsbury’s, offering two optical test rooms running daily and Hearcare services available three to four days per week. This is fully supported through the shared Hearcare clinic model linked to the Newbury hub.
