Specsavers in Ringwood are looking for an Optometrist to become the new Optometry Director and Store Partner. About the store

The store is split across two floors and operates with 5 optical test rooms, 1 dedicated contact lens room, plus two audiology rooms. Ringwood is a hub store. There is a large team of 38 in place at present, including resident optometrists and three pre-reg optometrists as well. Developing, growing and nurturing the team is a crucial part of the store's culture, and it is essential that the new Optometry Director is passionate about supporting the future needs of the business and team through training, mentoring and supporting.

Location

Located on the doorstep of the New Forest, and halfway between Southampton and Poole, you will find the pretty, unspoilt town of Ringwood. The town is bustling and thriving, full of independent shops, eateries, and regular street entertainment. The town offers its residents all your normal and required amenities, with the added benefit of its transport links, plus easy access to the beautiful Dorset coastline. Ringwood Specsavers is a well-established business that first opened its doors in 2004.

About you

You will be joining the retail partner Leanne, who has a long-standing career with Specsavers spanning over 19 years. You will want to work collaboratively, whilst putting new ideas and concepts on the table for discussion. The new Optometry Partner and store director will be an experienced, GOC registered optometrist, used to working in a large, fast-paced business at a senior level. You will pride yourself on your clinical judgement, and every decision will be based around the needs of your customer and the benefit of the business and your local community. You will lead from the front, role modelling standards to your team.
