Ready to take your skills on the road? As a domiciliary optometrist at Specsavers, you’ll drive our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to patients who can’t visit our stores. You’ll also support patients with basic tasks they couldn’t perform without your help, bringing smiles and clinical care to your community.
Covering Bristol and surrounding areas, you’ll be given specific locations within this territory to provide care to patients in their own homes.
Responsibilities- Deliver eye care services in patients’ homes
- Assess visual needs
- Fit and dispense lenses
- Prescribe and liaise with GOC/clinical teams
- Assist patients with day‑to‑day tasks where necessary
- Registered member of the General Optical Council (GOC)
- Valid full driving licence
- Demonstrated passion for customer service
- Confidence and ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Domiciliary‑specific CPD training that provides 1 non‑interactive CPD point
- Paid interview experience
- Extensive support, training, and development opportunities
- Salary up to £65,000 (depending on experience)
