Are you ready to take your skills on the road? As a Home Visits Optical Assistant at Specsavers, you can do just that. You'll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who are unable to come into our stores. Not only do you help them with their sight, you'll also be bringing smiles and clinical care into the heart of your community.
The job is varied: you'll work in a range of locations and testing environments every day - no two days are the same. Our region covers the whole of Essex, but our ever-expanding team is scattered across the region so we will always aim to keep you as close to home as possible, although there may be times you will have to cover anywhere within the Essex region.
We can only consider candidates who hold a full UK driving licence and can confidently dispense lenses at all levels.
What's on offer?
- Salary: up to £29,000 per annum (pro rata) DOE (combined package of up to £35,000 per annum - pro rata)
- Car allowance of £3,000 per annum (pro rata)
- Bonus based on performance; average between £2,000 and £3,000 per annum
- Part-time: 3 days per week 9am-6pm (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday - flexible)

What we're looking for?

- Current or recent optical experience (at least 6 months-1 year) and you must be able to confidently dispense at all levels
- You must hold a full UK driving licence
