Specsavers Brighton London Road is a busy, customer-focused optical store offering a wide range of eyecare and hearing services. Our team provides professional eye examinations, contact lens services, dispensing and fitting of spectacles, as well as hearing tests and hearing care. We're committed to delivering excellent patient care, expert advice and a friendly, welcoming experience to every customer.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an established, commercially focused retail leader who has already demonstrated success managing a large, high-performing team and delivering strong results. Optical experience is preferred, but significant retail management experience is essential. Experience in a regional or multisite environment would be highly advantageous.You'll bring:

- Proven experience managing a team of people, with a track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering strong results.
- Significant retail management experience, ideally gained in a Regional, Area or Multisite role.
- A proven track record of delivering against sales, profitability and operational KPIs, using data and insight to drive performance.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities, set clear priorities and consistently deliver business results.
- Experience managing performance and accountability, with the confidence to set expectations, challenge effectively and recognise success.
- A strong, experienced leader who can inspire, motivate and get the best from people.
- Customer obsessed, with a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- An excellent people manager who can recruit, coach, develop and retain high-performing teams.
- A visible and hands-on leader who enjoys being on the shop floor and leading by example.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing operational and commercial demands.
- A strong communicator and relationship builder, able to work effectively with colleagues, partners and support teams.
- Data-led and performance focused, comfortable analysing KPIs and turning insights into clear actions that improve results.
- A natural coach who can identify talent, develop future leaders and create a culture of high performance.
- Accountable and resilient, with the confidence to make decisions, solve problems and take ownership.
- Adaptable and proactive, able to respond quickly to changing customer, commercial and operational needs.
