As a Home Visits Optical Assistant, you'll ensure the delivery of a high-quality professional service to patients in their own homes and in some care home settings.
You must have high standards of customer care; in short, you will make sure every customer has a great experience with us. Full training and support will be offered. You'll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who are unable to come into our stores. Not only do you help them with their sight, you'll also be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community. You will be providing care to vulnerable patients in their own homes across our territory in Elgin, Inverness, Thurso, West Coast and occasionally Moray, so our ideal candidate will be based in Elgin or Inverness. Please note that there will be overnight stays away from home required in this role.
We have a wonderful existing team of dedicated people from optical and administrative backgrounds, who are ready and waiting for you to meet them.
You'll be provided with a car allowance so you need to have your own car to be considered for this position.

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as a Home Visits Trainee Optical Assistant. These include:
- Current or recent experience in a fast-paced customer facing environment
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be a confident driver
This role is deemed to be regulated activity under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. An enhanced DBS and barring list check will be required prior to commencement of the role and repeated every 3 years.
