Senior Conceptual Designers / Design Leads – fancy a move to beautiful New Zealand-!

These are two fantastic opportunities for an experienced Conceptual Design Lead and Senior Conceptual Designer to relocate for a few years (or longer!) to the beautiful, creative hotspot that is Auckland, New Zealand. There you would work as either second in command to the Head of Design or a Senior Designer at an excellent creative agency who are part of a growing indie network and have a great reputation for combining real creative flair with future facing strategic and business brains.

The roles are for talented, creative hybrids who can play pivotal roles in shaping the agency’s creative product by working closely with the creative department to spark big thinking and push the boundaries of what design can do for clients. You’ll be leading design projects and mentoring junior team members across digital, brand, motion and comms. And in the case of the Design Lead, you’d be helping the Head of Design to run the whole team and lead more projects directly with clients.

The Agency would be interested in meeting London / UK trained and experienced Conceptual Designers / Design Leads who would be up for a move down to Auckland.

Conceptual Design Lead and Senior Conceptual Designer Requirements:-

• Conceptual thinking and a strategic creative mindset, with a love of crafting ideas – demonstrated by a brilliant portfolio
• Highly proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma
• Proven experience of using AI tools for ideation, generation and prototyping
• (Strong) understanding of design systems across brand, motion, campaign and digital

Additional Conceptual Design Lead Requirements:-

• Collaborative leadership style – a natural leader and mentor who gets the best out of people
• Able to Think beyond the visual – understanding motion, digital ecosystems, and brand storytelling
• Comfortable presenting with confidence and selling in brave ideas
