Specialty Medical Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the London, Ohio area. This is an excellent short-term hospital assignment with a highly respected healthcare facility.
Position Overview:
- Hospital setting
- Contract: 8–12 weeks, with potential extension
- Local candidates preferred; travel expenses may be considered for the right candidate
- Dress code: Black scrubs
Key Responsibilities:
- Refilling and managing Pyxis automation systems
- Compounding hazardous and non-hazardous medications
- Supporting pharmacy operations and order workflow
- Working collaboratively with pharmacy staff and hospital team
Required Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
- National certification preferred/required
- Strong Pyxis experience required
- Experience compounding hazardous and non-hazardous medications
- Hospital experience preferred
- EPIC experience a plus (not required)
Schedule Details:
- Monday–Friday: 7:30am–4:00pm
- Possible 1–2 weekends per month
