PHARMACY ASSISTANT

Specialty Medical Staffing is hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant in the PNW!

The position is as follows

Summary of the role

  • Perform front-end revenue cycle duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology to investigate insurance benefits and submit authorizations for a variety of infusion and enteral therapies.
  • Duties include compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
  • Must be able to work onsite (no remote option available).
  • 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday

Must Haves

  • Experience with data entry.
  • Verification of insurance benefits and/or submitting authorizations.
  • WA state pharmacy assistant license.
  • Pride in their work.
  • Team player.
  • Self-sufficient and adaptable.
  • Pleasant phone etiquette.
