Job Details Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures. Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary. Assisting the dentist with procedures as needed. Providing excellent patient care. Recording treatment information in patient records. Exposing dental x-rays and caring for dental x-ray equipment. Educating patients on dental hygiene, oral health, and plaque control programs. Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and vital signs. Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist. Forming preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations. Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions. Ordering dental supplies and maintaining inventory. Other duties as assigned. Job Type Full-time Salary $20-$25 hourly with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred. Self-motivated, organized, with a positive attitude. Good understanding of dental terminology. Excellent communication and written skills. Strong public relations skills.
