Location: Specialized Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Job Summary

An integral position within the Specialized UK Retail Team; the Workshop Technician must excel at delivering service, working to timeframes, empathising with riders’ needs and committed to deliver above targets for the workshop and store team.

Responsibilities

  • Serving customers in-store, by phone and other digital communication tools.
  • Building and checking bikes for display and prior to rider handover.
  • Checking in riders’ bikes and repairing as per job expectation.
  • Processing warranty work, deliveries and stock transfers.
  • Completing stock checks and accurately recording anomalies.
  • General cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
  • Professional and friendly conduct at all times.
  • Completing any reasonable request made by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Technically excellent with all manner of product.
  • Sound diagnostic capability.
  • Sound product knowledge and the drive to learn continuously.
  • Empathy for riders to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Shop floor, selling experience.
  • Numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Clear and effective communicator and diagnostics.
  • I.T. skills to operate in store systems.
