This is a unique opportunity to shape our brand voice and engage customers through copy that is both commercially effective and creatively inspiring. The role is fixed term for 6 months.

As Creative Copywriter, you will develop compelling content across a wide range of formats, from social media and email to landing pages, product descriptions, brand stories, press releases and editorial features. You’ll work closely with teams across e-commerce, marketing and creative to ensure every piece of copy is on-brand, optimised for its platform, and connects with our audiences: from the curious enthusiast to the high-value connoisseur. You’ll craft engaging, commercially effective content that blends storytelling with SEO and performance, helping to drive engagement, sales, and long-term brand affinity.

Responsibilities

  • Write longer-form content including product guides, blog articles, educational features and editorial campaigns
  • Support PR and brand teams with storytelling content and press releases

Brand Voice & Messaging

  • Champion and evolve the TWE tone of voice across all touchpoints
  • Translate complex product and category information into accessible, benefit-led copy that aligns with brand pillars (expertise, curiosity, quality, heritage)
  • Maintain consistency and clarity of messaging across channels, while flexing tone and format for different audiences and platforms

Commercial & SEO Optimisation

  • Work with SEO and marketing teams to develop content that improves discoverability and organic performance
  • Optimise product descriptions, headlines and CTAs for clarity, conversion and keyword relevance
  • Input into testing strategies (e.g. subject lines, ad copy variants) and use performance insights to improve future output

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Liaise with design, digital marketing, e-commerce and event leads to ensure copy aligns with campaign objectives
  • Help maintain a central messaging calendar and proactively contribute ideas during brainstorms and planning sessions
  • Contribute to style guide development and ensure best practices are shared across the business

Your blend of talent

  • Proven experience in copywriting, ideally in a fast-paced e-commerce, retail or DTC environment
  • Proven ability to write across short- and long-form content with a balance of creativity and commercial purpose
  • Strong command of written English, grammar and tone, with a flair for persuasive storytelling
  • Solid working knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword strategy and how content supports online discoverability
  • Experience working to deadlines and managing multiple projects across stakeholders
  • Passion for spirits, food & drink, or premium/luxury products highly desirable
