Specialist Sports Group is a well-established and expanding sporting goods agency offering Sales, Marketing, Distribution, and Creative solutions to performance sports brands including world leading brand adidas. Specialist Sports is based on the western edge of Southampton, England. Specialist Sports have distribution responsibility for 12 product categories across the UK, Ireland, Europe and several other territories around the world. The category portfolio includes Rugby, Hockey, Cricket, Tennis, Track & Field, Olympic Sports and Teamwear featuring a range of products used by many of the world’s best athletes and grassroots enthusiasts. Specialist Sports are custodians of the adidas brand in these categories and hold Sports Marketing contracts with relevant Governing Bodies, leading clubs, and athletes. Additionally, sister company Specialist Sports Creation holds the global license to manufacture adidas apparel, accessories and hardgoods across a number of categories including Rugby and Cricket in support of the wider commercial strategy.
The Role
- Unloading deliveries, checking for damage or discrepancies, and verifying documentation against orders.
- Arranging stock systematically, labelling items, and maintaining an organised warehouse environment.
- Monitoring stock levels, updating records, and reporting shortages or surpluses.
- Scanning items for dispatch, packaging them securely, and preparing them for shipment.
- Using forklifts, pallet trucks, or other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Following health & safety regulations, keeping work areas tidy and ensuring compliance with warehouse protocols.
- Working closely with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
About You
- Previous experience in logistics and supply chain operations (preferable).
- Professional, enthusiastic and proactive personality.
- A physical stamina with the ability to lift, move, and handle goods.
- Good attention to detail, organisational skills and basic IT literacy.
- An ability to communicate effectively with team members.
