Specialist Sports Group is a well-established and expanding sporting goods agency offering Sales, Marketing, Distribution, and Creative solutions to performance sports brands including world leading brand adidas.

Specialist Sports have the distribution responsibility for 12 product categories across the UK, Ireland, Europe and several other territories around the world. The category portfolio includes Rugby, Hockey, Cricket, Tennis, Track & Field, Olympic Sports and Teamwear featuring a range of products used by many of the world’s best athletes and grassroots enthusiasts. Specialist Sports are custodians of the adidas brand in these categories and hold Sports Marketing contracts with relevant Governing Bodies, leading clubs, and athletes.

Sister company Specialist Sports Creation holds the global license to manufacture adidas apparel, accessories, and hardgoods across a number of sports categories.

ROLE:

We are looking for a Sales Support Manager to lead the Sales Support function across the UK & EU. You will manage and develop our support processes and act as the key point of contact for our sales team specialists.

  • Lead the Sales Support team, based in the UK, and act as the primary contact for daily queries across the UK & EU
  • Create and amend orders, including order processing and releasing with a focus on management of Professional Clubs
  • Oversee order creation, processing, and release, ensuring efficiency across processes
  • Manage embellishment partners to support teamwear operations
  • Lead the co-ordination of athlete sponsorship set-up by liaising with sales managers on strategy, packages, and the database
  • Manage item set-ups with efficiency and accuracy
  • Create clearance packages as required
  • Build and maintain strong professional internal relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with teams
  • Identify areas for improvement across the Sales Support function and establish greater accuracy and efficiency
  • Mentor and manage the Sales Support team and act as key support, fostering a positive culture
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of Operations

ABOUT YOU:

  • Previous experience in a managerial sales support role (preferable)
  • Professional, proactive, and efficient
  • An ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
