At Specialist SEND Group, we are committed to transforming educational outcomes for young people who need a more personalised and flexible approach to learning. We are currently seeking a Specialist SEND Tutor to support a Key Stage 3 learner in Tyldesley who is currently not accessing mainstream school. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for an experienced, compassionate tutor who is confident in delivering education in a home setting and building strong, trusting relationships with young people with additional needs.
About The Role
You will provide 1:1, home-based tuition for a KS3 student, delivering a bespoke curriculum tailored to their individual needs, interests, and emotional readiness to learn.
Hours
10 hours per week including paid PPA time.
The Role Focuses On
- Re-engaging a learner who is out of school
- Building confidence, routine, and positive relationships
- Supporting core subjects (English, Maths, and wider KS3 curriculum where appropriate)
- Promoting emotional regulation and readiness to learn
You will be fully supported by our Specialist SEND team, with careful tutor–student matching to ensure the best outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
Experience with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, anxiety, or behaviour needs is highly desirable.
