We are looking for passionate and dedicated tutors to provide 1:1 tuition support for learners who are currently not attending mainstream school settings. This rewarding role involves supporting both primary and secondary‑aged learners, helping them rebuild confidence, re‑engage with education, and achieve positive outcomes through personalised teaching approaches.
Pay: £25.00‑£35.00 per hour
Location: In person
The Role:
- Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions
- Support learners with varying educational needs and abilities
- Teach: the full National Curriculum, or a differentiated/broken‑down curriculum tailored to learner needs
- Build positive, supportive relationships with students and families
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
Requirements:
- Hold a PGCE
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching primary or secondary learners
- Be confident planning and delivering personalised learning
- Be patient, adaptable and passionate about inclusive education
