THE ROLE
As an Accounts Trainee, you'll gain hands-on experience across all core areas of accountancy from day one, including:
- Financial accounting — recording transactions and assisting with financial statements, budgets and forecasts
- Auditing — preparing audit work, gathering evidence and reviewing financial statements under supervision
- Taxation — supporting with VAT, PAYE and NIC returns and fiscal valuations
- Client liaison — attending client premises and working directly with their teams
- General administration — correspondence, file maintenance and other duties as required
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A-Level student or university graduate
- Keen to study towards AAT or ACA qualification
- Enthusiastic, organised and eager to learn
- Comfortable in an office-based role
THE DETAILS
Location: Dorking, Surrey (fully office based)
Hours: 9am – 5pm
AAT pathway: £18,000–£19,000 + discretionary bonus (salary reviewed after year 1)
ACA pathway: £19,500–£21,000 + discretionary bonus (salary reviewed after year 1)
