We’re working with a rapidly expanding UK B2B debt recovery agency that’s looking to strengthen its legal team with a confident and capable professional to manage defended Small Claims Track matters from start to finish.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and ambitious business where your contribution will have real impact. You’ll take ownership of your own caseload while working closely with senior leadership, with clear progression opportunities as the company continues to scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing defended Small Claims cases from defence through to resolution
- Reviewing legal documents, pleadings, and court papers
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third-party agents
- Keeping cases on track—handling deadlines, directions, and progression
- Supporting post-judgment enforcement actions (warrants, attachments, charging orders)
- Maintaining accurate case records and systems
- Drafting Statutory Demands for approval
- Assisting the wider Collections team when needed
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Legal Assistant or Legal Executive role
- Hands-on experience with defended Small Claims litigation
- Strong understanding of CPR, court procedures, and deadlines
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong written skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Experience with Fast Track litigation
- Exposure to enforcement actions
- Background in debt recovery or volume litigation
