Product Marketing Executive

Taunton (hybrid working available after probation) | £30,000 - £34,000 | Full-time

We're recruiting for a Product Marketing Executive to join a growing Outdoor brand, responsible for developing and implementing marketing tactics that drive the adoption, growth and success of their Outdoor product range.

You'll work closely with Product Development, Brand Marketing, Sales and Digital teams to bring new products to market, manage exhibitions and trade shows, and keep a close eye on the competitive landscape.

What you'll be doing

• Support Go-to-Market plans for new product introductions, from packaging and positioning through to launch materials.
• Work with Brand Marketing to support the design of exhibition and trade show materials, and organise and coordinate B2B and B2C events, personally attending as required.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends, feeding recommendations back to the business.
• Own the Product Marketing expenditure budget and report on marketing spend and effectiveness.
• Maintain strong customer insight through market research and close contact with Sales.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a product marketing, brand marketing or similar role, ideally within a consumer goods, outdoor or lifestyle brand environment.
• Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Confident working independently as well as collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel within the UK/Europe, with travel outside Europe (e.g. to the US) only rarely, if at all — up to approximately 10% of working time. Candidates with travel restrictions cannot be considered for this role.
