We're looking for an exceptional engineer to become the technical authority behind Specialist Pools' engineering excellence and help shape the future of premium swimming pool engineering. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an experienced swimming pool engineer who takes pride in their craft, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to define the standard for premium swimming pool engineering. The Role

As Head of Swimming Pool Engineering, you'll work on some of the UK's most prestigious commercial and luxury residential swimming pools, delivering engineering solutions where expertise, precision and attention to detail are critical. You'll be responsible for:

  • Commercial plant room installations, upgrades and refurbishments
  • Leading complex engineering projects from planning and diagnosis through to completion
  • Advanced filtration and hydraulic improvements
  • Automation systems and controls
  • Pump installations and system optimisation
  • UV servicing and installations
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Setting engineering standards, processes and best practice across the business
  • Mentoring and developing engineers through technical guidance, coaching and hands-on support
  • Helping build a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence and professional pride

You'll be the engineer trusted with the most technically demanding projects, using your experience and judgement to deliver the right solution first time. You'll set the technical standard for the business by leading through the quality of your work, not your job title. Our work is built around PWTAG best practice and engineering excellence.
