The Patient Care Advisor serves as the first point of contact for patients and healthcare clients, ensuring the delivery of a high standard of customer service and administrative support. This role is essential in coordinating patient communications, managing service queries, and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering patient-focused care. The Patient Care Advisor plays an essential role in the smooth day to day running of the pharmacy.

Your day to day responsibilities include:

  • Taking care of the patients by answering the phone and taking payment for medications.
  • Resolving any queries, concerns and problems or referring them to an appropriately qualified colleague as required.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely handling of all inbound prescriptions and sales of medications (compounded or prescription-only) and OTC supplements.
