The predicted salary is between 15 - 15 £ per hour.

Pay: £15.00 per hour, 39‑hour contract.

Working hours: Shifts – any 5 of 7 between 04:30 and 23:00.

We are seeking an individual with strong customer service and interpersonal skills to enforce allocated car parking activities across Sizewell ACA, Northern and Southern Park & Ride sites (Darsham, Wickham Market), as well as within designated local community locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out validation checks of parking permits in line with the expected levels set out by the SZC Parking Manager.
  • Champion behavioural safety, challenging at‑risk behaviours and promoting positive safety conversations.
  • Monitor vehicle compliance with car park rules, permits, and parking guidelines.
  • Monitor the occurrence of fly parking in surrounding towns and villages by completing daily patrols and escalating any issues.
  • Carry out vehicle counts and daily patrols.
  • Complete incident reporting and follow correct procedures accurately and on time.
  • Build positive relationships with local residents and community stakeholders.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and act as a professional point of contact for colleagues and customers.
  • Communicate operational issues, road incidents, closures, and service disruptions to the Operations Team.
Qualifications & Knowledge
  • Essential: Customer Service background.
  • Essential: Flexible approach to working hours (24/7 business).
  • Essential: Ability to use IT such as laptop/phone/MS Office.
  • Essential: Driving Licence.
  • Essential: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check and obtain a DBS certificate.
  • Desirable: Parking experience.
  • Desirable: Conflict Management.
  • Desirable: IOSH Working Safely.
  • Desirable: Bank Person Trained (training available).
  • Desirable: PCV licence holder.
  • Desirable: Influencer Training.
  • Desirable: First Aid.
  • Desirable: CITB or CCNSG (must to work on the project; training available).
  • Desirable: L3 Health & Safety Supervisor.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of the transport sector.
