About Specialist Passenger Solutions (SPS): At SPS we provide specialist passenger transport for large infrastructure projects, including the EDF Nuclear Project at Hinkley Point C and now Sizewell C. We are a division of First Bus and operate depots in Ipswich & Sizewell C.

Position Overview: We are seeking a Supervisor to join our on‑site team in Ipswich. The role involves ensuring safe, reliable, and customer‑focused operations across our depots, managing drivers, buses, passenger flow and maintaining service reliability around the clock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote safety and positive behaviour on‑site.
  • Manage daily scheduling, driver allocation, and vehicle issues.
  • Handle customer queries and manage queues.
  • Oversee bus stands and secure gate areas.
  • Record passenger data and shift information accurately.
  • Support SPS values and teamwork across all operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company and safety standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience.
  • PCV/CatD licence.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Confident with IT.
  • Customer service or complaint‑handling experience.
  • Flexibility to work shifts (24/7 operation).

Desirable Experience:

  • Management experience.
  • Knowledge of the transport sector.

Safety and Security: All employees must be willing to undergo the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check and obtain a DBS certificate to ensure honesty and integrity at a Nuclear Licensed Site.
