Duties will include:
Laser engraving and marking of gifts and awards using a CO2 laser machine and rotary engraving machines.
Making items ready for engraving and finishing items to a polished finished ready for the customer.
Managing stock levels and quality control.
Help with the dispatch of completed orders.
Cutting and drilling of slate, metal and laminate using different power tools.
We are looking for a Engraving Technician to use CO2, fibre laser and rotarty engraving machines.
Experience is an advantage, but full training is available.
The successful candidate will have a "can do" attitude, good literacy, numeracy and practical skills and be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
Must be able to use CorelDraw software to design and produce artwork., It is essential to be able to use CorelDraw to design to produce artwork.
Confident in using power tools and hand tools, full training given.
Excellent English skills, especially with spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Excellent communication skills, over the phone, face to face and by email.
A good level of computer literacy.
The ability to multi-task and to work to deadlines.
A keen eye for detail.
The ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
